Ep 186 Selectively Numbing

This week podcast discusses how you can't selectively choose which feelings you want to obliterate with alcohol.

That when you over-drink in response to how you feel, you not only numb the feelings you don't like but it prevents you from feeling the feelings you do want to feel like connection, joy, freedom, and happiness.

Because as you know when you over-drink the feelings that you experience the next day are likely disappointment, frustrations, anger and shame against yourself.

And this prevents you from feeling confidence, pride, joy, and freedom.

So, tune in and hear why you want to start to be aware of this and what you can do instead.
