Cognitive dissonance is that conflict we have with ourselves about whether or not to do something. For people who over-drink we tell ourselves, we will only have one or two but then in the moment we are pulled to have more and battle with our selves whether to do it or not, that is the cognitive dissonance. I am teaching you how to manage that dissonance in this week's episode so that the part of you that wants to cut back wins more often than the part that wants you to drink.
